HWY CVOID-19 Protocols and REGULATIONS
The following outlines the procedures and regulations Humble Warrior Yoga (HWY) will follow to prevent the spread of CVOID-19 beginning June 1, 2020. The procedures outlined below are in coordination with the CDC. More information on these measures can be found here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/schools-childcare/summer-camps.html. In order for any participant to attend any of our programs the participant must read and sign the document "CVOID-19 Liability Form" in agreement to follow all protocols, precautions and regulations. If the participant is under the age of 18, their parent/guardian must sign the form on their behalf.
Preventing the spread of CVOID-19:
Prior to the start of all programs, all employees of HWY will take appropriate measures to social distance, practice proper hand hygiene, respiratory etiquette, and wear appropriate cloth face coverings when out in public spaces.
Social distancing: If one needs to leave the house, they must wear mask, keep 6ft of space between others and avoid large gatherings.
Hand washing: Washing hands with soap for at least 20 seconds. *If soap is not available, must use sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
Respiratory etiquette: Cover coughs and sneezes with a tissue and wash hands for 20 seconds with soap and water (or 60% alcohol sanitizer) immediately.

HWY and its participants will respect the 6ft of social distance; especially when coming in contact with others outside of our program.
Since HWY works with minors, the distancing of 6ft will be compromised in order to keep children safe, comforted, and taken care of.
Participants who are feeling sick, even if the sickness is not identified as COVID-19, are not allowed to attend HWY’s programs until cleared by a doctor with a doctors note. This note should be emailed to yoga@humblewarriorsf.com the day before the participant returns to HWY’s program.
Illnesses includes but are not limited to:
Coughs
Fevers
Runny noses
Stomach aches
Ear aches
Vomiting
Participants who have recently had close contact with a person with CVOID-19 must stay home, self-quarantine, and notify HWY immediately.
Self-quarantine must happen for 14 days.
Participants ages 12 and up will be asked to wear cloth face coverings while attending our programs. Children 12-3 years of age are welcomed to wear masks but is not mandatory. We understand that this is difficult and ask participants to follow as best as possible.
If the participant has trouble breathing, we ask that they take the mask off and respect social distancing rules and protocols.
We encourage the same parent/guardian/caregiver pick-up and drop-off their child for camps.
Parent/guardian/caregiver will have to sign their child in/out everyday.
We will sanitize the pen between each use as well as provide sanitizer for before and after signing in. If the parent/guardian/caregiver is not comfortable touching the same surface and supplies as others it will be required that the parent/guardian/caregiver email yoga@humblewarriorsf.com the following:
Drop off:
Subject: First and last name of participant, date, program
Body: I, (name of parent/guardian/caregiver) dropped off (first and last name of child) with Humble Warrior Yoga at (insert time).
Pick up:
Parent/guardian/caregiver must email HWY on the same email chain as drop off.
The body must say:
I, (name of parent/guardian/caregiver) picked up (first and last name of child) with Humble Warrior Yoga at (insert time).
Maintaining a heathy environment:
All of our programs are held outdoors to ensure safe distance and plenty of ventilation from the fresh air.
We will be sure to clean and disinfect frequently touched items and surfaces.
Programs requiring supplies will be divided (when possible) into labeled bags designated to each participant. Supplies will be disinfected after each use.
All employees and participants will have temperatures checked upon arrival. If a program is longer than 3 hours, by the third hour, temperatures will be checked again.
Participants with a temperature of 100.4 degrees (38 degrees C) or above or any other signs of illness will not be allowed into HWY’s program.
- See section Preventing the spread of CVOID-19, Section D for list of possible illnesses.
Participants will be allowed back into a program hosted by HWY with a doctors note of approval.
In the event a participant gets sick:
In the event a participant gets sick, they must go home immediately. If parent/guardian/caregiver is not around, they must be within 30 minutes away from program location to ensure a prompt pick up.
Participant will not be able to come back to a program lead by HWY until a doctor has cleared participant with a doctors note.
We will inform participants of the program when one gets sick but the identity of the sick participant will be kept confidential.
All supplies and areas used by the sick participant will be disinfected.
In the event that HWY needs to cancel due to sickness, participants will receive a refund for those days.
Refunds will only be given in the event HWY cancels due to sickness, not the participant.
*Humble Warrior Yoga (HWY) will continue to keep up to date with CDC and San Francisco’s regulations and protocols around safe practice during the outbreak of CVOID-19. If there are any updates, participants will be informed and will need to sign the updated “Humble Warrior Yoga CVOID-19 Liability Form.”
